A basic bathroom facelift with new vanity top, lavatory, faucet, mirror, light fixture, vinyl flooring, and painting will run $4,000.00 - $6,000.00, or more, depending on fixtures selected.

Doing the above plus replacing the toilet, vanity, bathtub, tiled tub surround and exhaust fan will cost $9,000.00 - $12,000.00+ again depending on fixtures selected.

Adding a Jacuzzi whirlpool bathtub will add $1,500.00 or more to the above price.

A heated ceramic floor with thermostat and programmable 7-day timer will add approximately $1,500.00 to your investment.

Adding a steam generator to the shower with tiled walls and shower base and steam tight custom enclosure can add $3,500.00 - $5,000.00.

A multi-head shower system with body sprays, personal shower on glide bar, fixed shower head and a rainfall shower head extending from the ceiling can add $4,500.00 or more.

On a national average it has been calculated that the average professionally completed bathroom remodeling project will require an investment of around $12,000.00. In our region we have found that, depending on final product selections, that figure could be high but it can also easily be doubled.

Professional bathroom remodeling isn't cheap. Per square foot, this will be the most expensive room in your home. No other room in your home has as many features that are required to perform as many times each day as are the fixtures in our bathrooms. The average bathroom only has a major renovation completed once every 30 years.
